I believe that your practice can be enjoyable, successful, and balanced. You didn’t go into podiatry to be burnt out; you wanted an enjoyable life. I’ve spent too much of my life trying to be like someone else, focusing on surgery because that is what I was “supposed” to do and being confused about what I wanted out of my practice.
But I’ve discovered that the secret to a fulfilling life and profession is to figure out what you are really good at and what you enjoy and do ONLY that. Delegate or stop doing everything else. This may take some time, planning and new skills, but it will give you the most joy in life and your work. I can help do just that!
